I will assume that if you are reading a blog post about texting privacy tips, then you already have a passcode or Touch ID or Face ID enabled to keep your iPhone protected when it is locked. The next step is to keep text alerts from appearing on the lock screen, where anyone can see them. To turn off lock screen notifications, go to Settings > Notifications > Messages and toggle off Show on Lock Screen in the Alerts section.
Alternatively, you can still get lock screen alerts but without the preview of the text message.

You Can Now Send Bitcoin Via Text Message |
Samourai, a privacy focused crypto wallet, have recently introduced a new feature which allows you to send Bitcoin payments using standard SMS messages. It opens up a whole host of possibilities, and really moves the Bitcoin network along.
