PageGate Version 10 is Now Available
PageGate v10 includes a number of new features and benefits, including enhanced two way messaging capabilities, optional support for SQL Databases and a host of other enhancements.

SQL Server Module
PageGate v10 now has optional support for SQL. The new SQL Server Module option is available for PageGate v10 as an add-on. PageGate version 10's support for SQL databases makes it easier than ever to integrate PageGate into your existing infrastructure! Using SQL can make storing and accessing PageGate's data much easier for clients and it provides methods of connection ideal for local and remote connection.

Important Changes - End of a Era with SMTP Delivery
Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular have all gotten suddenly very serious about anti-spam monitoring, rate of delivery and volume limits on their public Email-to-SMS system. Due to the large volume of spam messages being sent using SMTP, many of the Carriers have implemented anti-spam protocols which are impacting legitimate messages being sent using Email delivery. As a result the carriers public Email-to-SMS gateways are no longer reliable for moderate or high volume environments and should not be used on systems planning to send more than 250 messages per day. Network Monitoring Notifications
If you require reliable notification with network anomallies occur, use PageGate in conjunction with your network monitoring. It is far more reliable than email delivery or relying on network components that may be impacted by outages. PageGate integrates with almost all network monitoring solutions (see SolarWinds as an example).
SolarWinds Integration
Alerts are generated for user-definable events, and may be triggered by the simple occurrence of an event or by the crossing of a threshold value for a monitored Interface, Volume or Node. Alerts may be set to notify different people on different days, different times of the day, different people for different events, or any combination of times, events, and people.

Discontinued Support
Just a reminder as we release new versions, we discontinue support for earlier version of PageGate. Version of PageGate prior to PageGate v8 will no longer be supported, if you are on an older version we encourage you to upgrade and benefit from the new features and security in PageGate v10.
