PageGate version 10's support for SQL databases makes it easier than ever to integrate PageGate into your existing infrastructure! Using SQL can make storing and accessing PageGate's data much easier for clients and it provides methods of connection ideal for local and remote connection. Customers that already maintain a MS SQL Servers infrastructure, may find it easier to administer and maintain PageGate's database as a SQL database.
Database communication encryption is available using the SQL Server database option, making things like the cloud VM option mentioned above, more secure.
PageGate installations on slow networks, wide area networks and VPNs may realize noticeable speed improvements when using a SQL Server database.
Running PageGate in cloud virtual machine (i.e. AWS, Azure, etc.) is now easy to accomplish by using the SQL Server database option.
