How to Install PageGate GUI (Windows) Client Transcript for Video:
Welcome to the video tutorial on how to install the PageGate Client. In this tutorial, we’ll be going over how to install PageGate’s GUI Client in Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10, Server 2008, Server 2012 and Server 2016.
The first step is to visit our website, www.notepage.net
Here in the middle of the page, you’ll see the PageGate section. You should also see the More Info, Download and Buy Now buttons here. Click on Download and save the file somewhere convenient.
Now that we have the file downloaded, right click on it and select ‘Run as Administrator’. This step needs to be done even if you’re logged in as an administrator as this authorizes the installation with the User Accounts Control in Windows. If prompted, allow the process to continue.
After the installation extracts, select ‘Install PageGate GUI Client’
On the first step, click Next.
Select whether you want to view the ‘Read Me’ and ‘Release Notes’ files, then click next.
Please read the End User License Agreement, then select ‘I accept the agreement’ and click Next.
This step lets you specify where the PageGate Client is installed. By default, it will install itself in the Program Files (x86) directory, under a NotePage – PageGate Client sub-folder. After specifying the installation directory, click Next.
This step allows you to specify the program’s Start Menu name. Click Next.
Select whether you want to create a desktop icon for the client and click Next.
Click Install. When the installation finishes, click Finish.
This concludes the tutorial on how to install the PageGate Client.
