Schneider Electric I/NET sends alerting information via serial line. PageGate uses the GetSerial module to monitor the serial port for incoming alerts.
Configure the GetSerial Module
Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetSerial — Settings. Check Enabled.
Set Serial Port to the COM port I/NET feeds data into. Mirror I/NET's Baud Rate, Parity, Data Bits, Stop Bits and Handshaking. Leave Init String blank. Click Apply. Enable for all.
Go to
GetSerial — Settings — Record:
Start Pattern: START | Start Offset: 0
End Pattern: END | End Offset: 0
Click
Apply.
Go to GetSerial — Settings — Recipient. Select Static Recipient. Choose the recipient or group. Click Apply.
Go to GetSerial — Settings — Sender. Select Static Sender. Enter: INET. Click Apply.

GetSerial — Settings — Message:
Start Pattern: START | Start Offset: 6
End Pattern: END | End Offset: -4
Click
Apply.
