Peraton ASCII
Peraton's CommandPoint has an interface that allows it to write text files to a folder when a dispatch needs to be sent. PageGate's GetAscii interface would then monitor the CAD output folder for triggers and send messages any time CAD drops a file in to the folder.
1) In Windows, browse in to your PageGateData directory. By default, c:\PageGateData\
2) Create a new folder and name it: ASCII
3) Open PG Admin.
4) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings
5) Enter the path to the directory you created in step 2. By default, c:\PageGateData\ASCII\
6) Check Enabled, click Apply and select 'Yes'.
7) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Advanced Polling - Files
8) Click Add.
9) Specify the following and click Apply:
Recipient: *
From: Leave Blank
File(s): *.txt
Path: The path to your Peraton output folder.
File Type: Standard
10) Click Apply again.
At this point, PageGate is now ready to start receiving dispatch triggers from Peraton!
