Web Interface PageGate

Web API - Web Server and CGI Interface - GetWeb

sms server and messaging gateway for networks

The Web Interface is one of several ways that PageGate can accept incoming messages:

Web Interface

Web API - Web Server CGI Interface
Send text messages via webpages. The PageGate Web API allows clients to dispatch messages from a webpage on their webserver. PageGate's web interface supports many types of web pages including single, group, multi-page, drop down lists and ad-hoc type web pages. The web pages can be set up using templates.

The Web Interface uses a CGI script to allow any Windows based web server to accept information entered on a web page and send it to PageGate. PageGate then sends the message out via text message.

Web Developers can use the Web Server Interface to send messages to PageGate from their webpages (HTML, ASP, JavaScript, Java, etc.).

The CGI can be used with either a POST or GET method.

The POST method can be used by creating a form on your webpage. Information submitted in the form can be sent out as a text message.

The GET method is more popular with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Java.  It allows the CGI to be called with a command similar to one that could be entered into a browser's URL field.

The Web interface can also be used to enable PageGate to receive notifications from applications running on different platforms.
