PageGate Uninstall Directions

Two options are available for uninstalling PageGate. Choose the method that matches your situation below.

Upgrading PageGate? You do not need to uninstall the existing version before installing a newer one.

Removes program files only — your PageGate data remains intact on disk. Use when reinstalling the same version.

Completely removes PageGate and all of its data. Use when you want a clean removal with nothing left behind.

Program Only Uninstall

Removes all PageGate program files but leaves your data intact. Most commonly used to reinstall the same version when files were accidentally deleted or replaced.

Stop all PageGate programs

Stop PageGate Admin, PageGate Monitor, PageGate GUI Client(s), and the PageGate Server. If running as a Windows service, click the pager icon in the system tray and choose Stop.

Open Windows Control Panel

Click the Start menu, then open Control Panel.

Open Programs and Features

Select Programs and Features from the Control Panel.

Select PageGate

Click on PageGate in the list of installed programs.

Click the Uninstall button

Click Uninstall above the list of installed programs.

Choose Program Uninstall

When prompted for the Uninstall Type, select Program Uninstall and click Continue.

Done

The program files have been removed. Your PageGate data remains intact.

Full Uninstall

Completely removes PageGate and all of its data from your system. Use this when you want a clean slate with no PageGate files remaining.
