PageGate integrates with Lawsoft CAD using the GetAscii Advanced Polling configuration to monitor for text file output from the CAD system.
Step 1 — Configure GetAscii with Advanced Polling
Create: c:\PageGateData\Ascii\. Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings. Set Polling Directory. Check Enabled. Click Apply. Enable for all.
Go to
Advanced Polling — Files. Click
Add:
Recipient: *
From: CAD
File(s): *.txt
Path: \lawsoft\NotePage (or your Lawsoft CAD data UNC path)
File Type: Custom
Click
Apply twice.
Go to Advanced Polling — Record: Start Pattern *, End Pattern ~. Click Apply.
Go to Advanced Polling — Recipient: Start Pattern CFS:, Start Offset 4, End Pattern \013. Click Apply.
Go to Advanced Polling — Sender: Select Static Sender, enter CAD. Click Apply.
Go to Advanced Polling — Message: Start Pattern *, End Pattern ~. Click Apply.
Step 2 — Create Groups and Map CFS Codes
In PG Admin, create groups matching your dispatch agencies. Click Apply for each.
Go to
Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings — Advanced Polling — Recipient. Click
Edit Table → Add. Map CFS codes to PageGate group names:
Data In: *Fire Department - City*
Data Out: fire_department_city
Add members to each group via Groups — YourGroup — Members.
