I use notepage to monitor pagegate for failed modules and pages. When I receive an email from it, it contains no subject, and the body simply says: PG_Monitor:Message failed on PGDial1.

It would be nice for that to be in the subject line, and for details to be in the body, such as date/time and which message/recipient. As it is, I have to see when the message arrived on my computer, and then look in the logs around that time.

Are you using "Notepager Pro" or "PageGate"? 2 different packages

Actually, I should say:

I use NotePager Pro to monitor the PageGate Monitor for email notifications of failed events.

Set up a failover SMTp recipient and use message templates for that recipient. When a message fails - Pagegate will send it to the failover recipient and pull the data fields you need (such as %OrigRecipient%) to let you see the original destination and carrier. As far as looking at the actual root cause of the failure, you will need the logs in DEBUG mode to see the line by line communication sequence. Contact me offline (or tech support for that matter) for an example of a message template file that will perform this task

Will the message still be marked as "Failed" on the monitor? Or will it be marked "Successful" because it was successfully sent to its failover destination?

Monitor will show that it failed (since it did not reach it's original destination)
