Anyone having problems with the AT&T ~ Cingular TAP? We dropped off on Sept 25th...giving errors of no handshake or garbage text.
Spent three hours on the phone with them yesterday and obtain new TAP numbers (already had those)..just getting a log-in error...AT&T says basically...huh?
anyone else having problems?

Both numbers and settings were provided (confirmed) by the tech dudes. It was working properly until about Sept 26th, then just stopped. I will give an occassional "no handshake" on the AT&T number.
The devices will text and receive web-based SMS messages okay. So, it's not the devices.

POINT TO CONSIDER: Web based "SMS" are not really "SMS" messages. Web based messaging to that carrier's devices actually use a slightly different path to get to the phone since the carrier owns the entire conduit and does not need to share with the oter carriers on the "SMS RING"_________________ Aaron D. Greetings!
We, too, are experiencing problems with this carrier. I don't know when it started, as our records go back only about 30 days.
Has anyone found an 'answer' to this problem?
