PageGate can be easily integrated with Central Square CAD and CAD Pro systems by using PageGate's GetAscii interface.
NOTE: You will need to create a directory for the integration to reference. If PageGate is installed on the Central Square server, we recommend creating c:\PageGateData\Ascii\.
If PageGate is not installed on the Central Square server, be sure to share the integration directory on the network so the PageGate server has access to the CAD data. If PageGate is referencing a share path to the CAD data, you will probably need to assign a service account to the PageGate GetAscii service.
To configure PageGate's GetAscii interface to receive data from Central Square CAD:
1) Open the PageGate Admin.
2) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings.
3) Set the "Polling Directory" to the integration directory you've created (see notes above).
Note: If you set the Polling Directory to a shared network (UNC) path, be sure to go into the properties of the PageGate GetAscii windows services, go under the Log On tab and provide service account credentials with read, write and modify privileges to the CAD share path.
4) Check Enabled.
5) Click on Apply.
5a) When prompted, you do want this enabled for all existing groups and recipients.
