PageGate integrates with Alston's Tascom systems using the GetTAP module. Tascom outputs the TAP protocol which GetTAP accepts via serial connection.
Configure the GetTAP Module
Open the PageGate Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetTAP — Settings.
Set the Serial Port field to match the COM/Serial port the Tascom system is plugged in to.
Specify port settings to mirror the Tascom system:
Baud Rate: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Parity: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Data Bits: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Stop Bits: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Init String: direct
Check Enabled. Click Apply. When prompted, enable for all existing groups and recipients.
