Add Carriers to NotePager Pro

Tutorial to add cellular carriers in NotePager Pro SMS and text messaging software.

Note: These are example carriers. If you want to add carriers other than our example carriers, please reference the carrier protocol information on our support page.

Now that we've got the program installed and registered, here's how to set up your carriers:

Setting Up SNPP and WCTP Carriers (Nextel & Arch)

Go to Carriers → Add.

Name the Carrier: Nextel

Set the protocol to: SNPP

In the host, type: pecos.nextel.com

Leave everything else as it is, then click Apply. Click OK on the Carrier Record Added dialog.

In the name, put: Arch. Set the protocol to: WCTP. In the host, type: wctp.arch.com/wctp. Leave everything else as is, click Apply, then OK.

Close the Add Carrier Menu.

Setting Up an SMTP Carrier (Sprint)

Left click on the Carriers menu, then left click Add.

Name the carrier: Sprint

Change the Protocol to: SMTP

Your Local Domain needs to be set to the latter half of your email address.

Enter your Primary DNS into DNS Server 1 and your Secondary DNS into DNS Server 2. If you're not sure, contact your internet service provider or network admin.
