How Text Messaging Works - Messages are sent via software to the paging terminal. The software communicates with the paging terminal in a fashion that the paging terminal understands, the terminal then broadcasts the message to the appropriate paging device. You will need the phone number of the paging terminal (see the above directory) and the id number of the pager or cell phone.
