The 911 Center uses PageGate to transmit SMTP messages to IAmResponding for their fire, EMS, and police department notifications as a secondary means to their Minitor paging devices Since St Croix County is using IAmResponding as a secondary means to communicate emergencies to their emergency responders they have found that messages going out via SMTP through PageGate have transmitted quicker than doing over the air paging that requires someone to set tones off.
