How is PageGate Used By IamResponding?
IamResponding uses PageGate primarily at the end-user level. Many dispatch centers do not have the ability to output incident data over many of the common protocols (SMTP, SNPP). In those cases we deploy PageGate at the PSAP/dispatch center and will use one or more of the integration modules to output the incident data to IamResponding in real-time.
We have numerous local installations of PageGate at dispatch centers around the world using features ranging from Command Line/ASCII, SNPP, SMTP, Serial and the Web API.
IamResponding also uses PageGate in our datacenters as well for the SNPP module. This allows a dispatch center to send SNPP direct to IamResponding if they have a native functionality or PageGate server onsite.
How PageGate Makes Life Easier:
PageGate provides the ability for first responders to receive critical communications with IamResponding in a cost efficient yet reliable means.
We're able to rapidly onboard a dispatch center to the IamResponding system with little to no interaction with a CAD vendor. Features like the Command Line/ASCII module can use common existing features (RMS file drops) and turn that into a trigger to notify IamResponding of an incident.
