WebGate has a very modular design that allows for its high scalability. On busy systems up to 16 intelligent dialers, each controlling its own modem or direct cable connection, can be used. Each of WebGate's modules can be run on a separate computer (or all on a single computer). With all of WebGate's modules in use, the WebGate application could actually be spread across more than 10 machines. This architecture enables WebGate to handle a very large volume of messages per hour.
