There are a variety of ways to send text messages from Email to Sprint
1. Send Text from Email to Sprint
a. Open your email client.
b. Confirm that the individual you are sending to has their wireless service with Sprint
c. Format the message
d. In the email "to" field use the following format:
10digitphonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
10digitcel@messaging.sprint.com
e. Do not include dashes or spaces in between the numbers.
2. Send Text from Email Using Software like PageGate or NotePager Pro
a. Confirm that the individual you are sending to has their wireless service with Sprint
b. Setup Sprint as a carrier and setting the delivery method as SMTP (email delivery). This video tutorial will walk you through the process.
c. Send the message using the normal means in the software, the message will be transmitted to the carrier using Email.
The recipient will receive your message as a text message on their phone.
