Integration with PERDIS
PERDIS is a personnel and roster management, messaging and dispatching system for public transit. PageGate integrates via the GetWeb interface with an ad-hoc SMS configuration.
Step 1 — Configure GetWeb and Ad-Hoc Recipient
- Follow the web interface setup tutorial ↗. See also: how PageGate sends SMS ↗
- Open PG Admin. Right click Recipients, select Add.Full Name: adhocClick Apply.
Recipient: adhoc
Type: Ad-Hoc
Carrier: [Your SMS carrier]
Max Chars: [Desired length]
Step 2 — Configure PERDIS
Configure PERDIS to call this URL:
http://yourPGserver/pgscripts/webgate.exe?USER=adhoc&SUBJECT=CellNumber&FRM=Sender&MSG=Message
USER — adhoc recipient name
SUBJECT — 10-digit cell phone number
FRM — sender value
MSG — message text
SUBJECT — 10-digit cell phone number
