Soprano Integration

Steps to Use Soprano with PageGate

Send Text and SMS Messages from Soprano
PageGate can be easily configured to send text messages through Soprano's SMS API. It can do so by using their HTTP POST API and here's what you'll need to do:

1) Run PageGate Admin.

2) Right click Carriers, select 'Add'.

3) Set the following:
Name: Soprano
Protocol: HTTPPOST
Host: na1.smartmessagingsuite.com/cgphttp/servlet/sendmsg
Port: 443
MaxChars: 16000

4) Click Apply

5) Go to Carriers - Soprano - Advanced

6) Set the Username and Password to your Soprano login credentials.

7) Click Apply.

8) Go to Carriers - Soprano - Template

9) Set the following in the 'Settings' section:
HttpPostType = ParamOnly

10) Set the following in the 'Text' section:
|Content-Type|application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=UTF-8|

|destination|%RecipientId%|
|text|%Message%|
|source|ENTER YOUR SOPRANO PHONE NUMBER HERE|

11) Click Apply

Now that we've told PageGate how to communicate with Soprano, you'll need to add recipients to represent who you want to message. Here's how:

1) In PG Admin, right click Recipients and select 'Add'.

2) Give the recipient a name.

3) Set the Carrier to: Soprano

4) Enter the phone number in international format (example: +17818290500) in the ID/PIN field.

5) Click Apply.

Happy messaging!
