PageGate Supports Sending Text Messages Using the SNPP

SNPP is a standard message delivery protocol used for sending a text message via the Internet to a wireless or telecom provider.

SNPP was specifically designed for text messaging through the Internet and the protocol is very reliable. Only some telecom providers support SNPP, the first step to sending a message using SNPP is to determine if the telecom provider that you are sending to supports SNPP.

In order to send a text message to carriers who support SNPP, two pieces of information are required. The first required piece of information is the SNPP gateway/format of the telecom provider that the wireless devices is associated with. The second required piece of information is mobile phone number you wish to send the message to.
