Serial Interface - Serial API - GetSerial

The Serial Interface is one of several ways that PageGate can accept incoming messages. 

The Serial Port Interface enables PageGate to monitor a physical or virtual serial port (RS232 port) for data.The Serial Interface is often used to accept text that would normally be sent to an alarm system, alarm panel or printer, and extract message information from that data.

The Serial Interface monitors the port for pattern match sections.
