Micro Focus Silk Performance Manager Integration

Send Text and SMS Messages from Micro Focus Silk Performance Manager
PageGate can be easily configured to receive messaging alert notifications from Micro Focus Silk Performance Manager by using PageGate's GetASCII API. Here's how:

Note: You will need to create a directory for the integration to reference. If PageGate is installed on the SPM server, we recommend creating c:\PageGateData\SPM\. If PageGate is not installed on the SPM server, be sure to share the integration directory on the network so the PageGate and SPM systems both have administrative access/control.

1) Open the PageGate Admin.

2) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings.

3) Set the "Polling Directory" to the integration directory you've created (see above).
Note: If you set the Polling Directory to a shared network (UNC) path, be sure to provide the PageGate GetAscii windows service with the appropriate logon credentials to access the network data.

4) Check Enabled.

5) Click on Apply.
5a) When prompted, you do want this enabled for all existing groups and recipients.

When finished, you'll now be able to use the PageGate Gateway Access function in Silk Performance Manager.
