Alerts from Network Monitoring

Network Monitoring

When a failure is detected in a business' or company's network
infrastructure, it is important that the network administrator (or
others) are aware of the problem. The easiest way to do this is to send
text message notification(s).

While many network monitoring applications have the ability to
inherently send email notifications, if the network failure impacts
the email system, the alert will not be sent. In order to ensure that
alerts are sent and received, we recommend using a 3rd party solution
like PageGate along with cellular hardware to send the notifications
wirelessly. That way if there is an issue with the network
infrastructure the notifications will still be sent and received.

PageGate works with all different types of network monitoring solutions benefits include:

Instant Notifications

Alarm Monitoring

Redundancy

Multiple Notifications

Escalations

Event Alerts
