Automated Alarm Panel triggers an alarm, PageGate's serial interface gets the message and the PageGate Filter Script looks at the alert based on defined Filter Script parameters, it can either reformat the message or direct the message based on specific conditions. Depending on the outcome of the filtering the message can be processed, logged, or ignored. If the message is processed PageGate can then send the text message to email, update an API, execute a batch file or run a script, update a webpage, send a text or SMS message to a mobile device or any combination of the above.
