PageGate software's "Pager License" is being re-labeled "Recipient License". When PageGate software was initially released in 1996, the term "Pager License" was used because pagers were the primary devices being used for messaging. Times have changed and customers are using mobile phones and a wide array of devices for messaging. "Recipient License" is a more accurate description of the license, because PageGate sends messages to smartphones, cell phones, mobile phones, email addresses, fax machines, etc.
PageGate software's pricing is a one-time charge for a Recipient License. The Recipient License price is for the main PageGate software engine. There are 9 different PageGate Recipient Licenses depending on the number of recipients. To decide which Recipient License to purchase, determine how many cell phones, smartphones, pagers, email addresses, etc... that PageGate will be sending messages to.
For example, a PageGate software 5 Recipient License will register PageGate to send messages to 5 devices, regardless of what they are.
Don't forget, PageGate's front-end Interfaces and add-on modules are each priced separately from the Recipient License. PageGate includes 1 Connector module. Optional are a CD, Additional Connector modules and Priority Support (per year, per PageGate): http://www.notepage.net/priority-support.htm
