What carrier are you trying to send a message to? There is a large alphabetical database of phone numbers online in the support section.

You can try http://www.anywho.com. It is an AT&T service that has reverse phone number lookup capability.

If you go to http://www.anywho.com, it says that reverse lookup isn't available for cellphones..
