My agency sends multiple pages out using metrocall SNPP and VTEXT.com. Is there a way to speed up pages for 100 or more people. Also is there a way to tell pagegate to send pages to certain providers first. Can I send to metrocall members first then verizon pagers last? Also will pagegate send pages through 2 or more dialers simultanously? This may fix that problem if I set them all to dialup and use all 16 dialers.
Right now it takes an average of 1min to send a page. When there are 82 people in a group then it take s82mins to send apage and by that time my chief is yelling wondering where his page is.
Any help would be appreciated

My best recommendation would be to use multiple connectors. Each connector signifies a simultaneous connection that can be made. For example, if you have two connectors, one connector can handle all of the Metrocall messages while the other connector handles all of the messages to Verizon. Bear in mind, though, you can only have as many connectors running as you have licensed.
Just out of curiosity, are Metrocall and Verizon the only two carriers you send messages to?

If PageGate has only 1 Dialer registered, upgrade Additional Dialers for $100.00 each.
"Dialers" have been renamed "Connectors" in the latest PageGate version 5. Upgrade PageGate v4 to v5 for a minimum of $100.00. Download a free trial of PageGate v5 software (2 recipients enabled and restart every 3-5 days), upgrade instructions, and release notes at http://www.notepage.net/pagegate-v5.htm. The upgraded v5 Registration Key is needed to fully register PageGate v5 software.
The version and the number of registered Dialers can be confirmed in the PageGate Admin's Registration screen. We need the 4-5 digit Serial Number to upgrade PageGate's Additional Dialers and version.

We mostly page to Verizon and metrocall only. Those are the only 2 IMPORTANT ones. If I can send metrocall to one modem and Verizon through another, then this may solve my problem. I want to send metrocall pagers with SNPP though so what do I need to do

I'd recommend getting an extra connector for the program, that way you can have simultaneous connections. It should cut the delivery time down by more than half and greatly speed things up.

loudon911,
Im the network administrator for a 911 center as well (also in TN, Im just west of you near Cookeville), and I have only one connector (modem).
I can send 175 pages (over dial up to verizon) in roughly 4 minutes, with only one modem.
There are a few SMTP messages that go out after the dial up messages go out, but the vast majority of our messages go out over dial up. And certainly do not take 1 minute each.
You said you use VTEXT.com, are you using SMTP to send emails?
You might consider using the TAP protocol and dial up to verizon directly.
Id be happy to help you out.
