Can't send to Verizon but can from another phone (Cingular)

When I send from Notepager Pro it doesn't get through even though program says it is successful. If I immediatelysend from another cell phone, (Cingular) it goes through fine. What's up here????

It depends on a few things but just from your description, I'd take a guess that you have the program configured to send via SMTP.

Now, the reason it worked when you sent it from another cel phone is that cel phones send their messages out via GSM or CDMA. Which is to day, the cel phone is already part of a carrier network, so it can send directly to other devices.

Your computer, on the other hand, isn't part of a carrier network. So, with software like ours, we have to send to the different messaging gateways provided by the carriers. Of those gateways, SMTP is the most broadly supported but not always the most reliable.

So, if you would, please email the log file from NotePager Pro (c:\program files\notepager pro\) to support at notepage dot com. I'll have a look and try to see if I can figure out what's happening to your messages.
