Is there any way to add more that one address in the recipient's email address field? I'm using SMTP setting to email text messages to phones, but would like to send a backup of the message to the recipient's email address.

I tried using a comma or semi-colon, but no luck. (Also the character limit for the email field is limited.)

As a workaround I was thinking of creating a Group for each recipient and then creating two separate Recipient accounts (one for their text message and the other for their email.) Aside from a lot of inputting, I then would not be able to send a message to ALL recipients without selecting over 60 Groups. Or is there a way to create a "master" group that these 60 "sub" groups could be part of?

Hopefully this rambling message explains what I'm trying to accomplish. Any help, or workaround is appreciated. Thanks.

Multiple addresses for a single recipient is not possible but you can accomplish what you're looking for by using groups

EXAMPLE:

Recipient #1) Smith, Joe Cellular
Recipient #2) Smith, Joe Pager
Recipient #3) Smith, Joe Email1
Recipient #4) Smith, Joe Email2

Now, set up a group called Smith, Joe

Make recipient's 1 through 4 members of the group

Send the message to the group and a copy will be sent to each recipient member

Thanks. That's what I was thinking as my workaround. With over 60 people set up this way (60 different groups) is there any way to send to all without having to individually select all 60 groups?

Sure - make ANOTHER group and make the individual groups members

EXAMPLE:

Group 1 - Smith Joe (all devices/methods)
Group 2 - Doe, Jane (all devices/ methods)
Group 3 - Jones, Al (all devices/methods)

Now, make a NEW group "All Page" (or something that makes sense to you)

Now make Group 1, group 2, and group 3 members of that new group

Send a message to the new group - the system will copy each member and each recipient of each member)

Excellent. I didn't think a Group could be a member of a Group. I just tried it and it let me add a group to a group - so that will work. Thanks for the help!
