I have a client who has "sprint.blackberry.net" account.
Unfortunately I cannot send the messages via SMTP.

Is there a way that we can send the text messages using TAP or SNPP to Sprint blackbrry?

Thanks!

This may sound a bit odd but I did a quick search and noticed, in some of your earlier posts, that you were using SMTP to deliver messages previously? Has something changed so that SMTP is no longer a viable communication method?

SMTP really is the best way to message blackberries, you would send it to 10digitnumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com

Yes, the SMTP was working for only my company's email addresses. I am not good at those firewall and DNS. But I was told that we can't send emails other than my company email account (@mycompnay.com)
I was told that IT department blocked something...Sorry I can't explain more detail, because I am not that clear about that.

I do have a SprintPCS TAP carrier. Is it possible to send the text messages to Sprint Blackberry vis Sprint PCS TAP?
The TAP number is "18886561727". Or is it for only phones?

Ask your IT department about using a relay server

Most SPRINT phone will not work with TAP - ALL NexTel phones, however will. If the BlackBerry you're working with is on the NexTel network - then you can use NPA-NXX-6683 as the TAP access number (NPA=area code, NXX = exchange. If your NexTel number is 206-666-1234, then your TAP modem number for that unit is 206-666-6683)
