We are using Pagegate v 4.0 with webgate and using the guilist template.
If one tries to send a message without selecting or moving recipients to the selected recipients box, no error message appears and the the confirmation that the message was sent successfully appears after the send button gets clicked. The message is then sent to the bad messages folder.
Is there a way to advise users to make sure at least one recipient is in the box before they are even able to click the send button ?

Jose,
If no one from the recipient list is selected, it should come back and say "Error, no valid recipients selected".
Are you hosting the webpages on the same system that PageGate is installed to?

I was wondering if you had any more information on my question about the guilist not giving an error message when no users have been placed on the picked list.

Jose,
On an unmodified guilist.htm template, it should give you an error about no valid recipients being selected. If you would, please send the index.htm and/or default.htm files from the actual hosting directory to support at notepage dot com, that way we can have a look at the coding to see if anything's missing from the template.

Jose,
The trouble you're running into is that your recipient list has been manually coded into the page instead of allowing the page to pull the list from its userlist file on the web server, as was originally coded. If you revert back to the original template, it will give you an error when you have the recipient field blank.

Sorry for the confusion,
The files that I sent you are the ones that were generated by the server.
I can resend the template file I'm using. But since you requested the index or default htm files that is what I sent.
I will send the template to your support address and see what you can find.
