I want you to try something and let me know what happens. If you would, stop the GetWeb and only the GetWeb module. After you do, open one of your paging websites and submit a message. After you do that, have a look in the pgscripts directory and tell me what files exist.

If i stop the webgate, the file inside the folder C:\Inetpub\pgscripts is

webgate.exe
webgate.usr

If on the module,

the files are the same.

Right, I meant for you to stop the GetWeb module, then go to your paging website and submit a message.

If you would, please email your contact information to support at notepage dot com. I'm not sure this is something we can fix via Forum, it might be easier to fix by phone and then post the solution.

Dear Sir,

We solve the problem by changing a new PC. Now I have one question, how we know the webgate send a message via serial link. Could we know where we can setup the com1 port as the default serial port for webgate module.

Thanks and looking forward your reply!

To set the serial port the program is going to be delivering messages through, you would open the PageGate Admin and go to the Connectors - Dialer1 - Settings section.

In that section, you should see a Serial Port field. Change the Serial Port to 1 and put a check in Direct Connect.

We already set the com1 as the default serial port for Dialer1. But 0 messages were counted when we did the test through webgate yesterday. Anyway, the webgate module is working fine now, because the message transmission was recorded by the monitoring module.

Please help on Serial output. Thanks!
