I have been using another competitive product that can send pages either via SMTP or an open messaging program such as Outlook 2003. I'm looking to change over to Pagegate due to some stability and TAP compatibility issues we've been running into woth that product. I've found using Outlook was more reliable because it appears like we loose authentication each night if relying upon SMTP only. In testing the PageGate demo, I can set up for outgoing SMTP but it too seems to fall prey to the loss of authentication each night. I'd prefer to use our Outlook client for PageGate to send messages through but do not see any options to set PageGate up to do so. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

You can set the SMTP parameters to "Relay all mail" then point it at your exchange server
