|
|
Having a problem just recently sending pages to cingular and sprint users. I've checked and we are still using port 25 like you told someone else to check. I have tried all known addresses for our cingular people and both for sprint. Any other thoughts??
Thanks,
Jamie

Can you copy and paste a section of your Dialer log that has to do with Cingular, then another with Sprint? I'd like to have a look at the specific command and response sequence that happens when the program attempts to deliver SMTP Messages.

I know this sounds silly, but I can't figure out how to copy and paste from the dialer log. I can print it out, scan it and send it to you as a pdf if that will work??

No worries, you can do something a bit easier than that. The log file itself is a file called npp.log and it's generally located in c:\program files\notepager pro\
If you would, email that over to support at notepage.com so we can have a look at the command and response sequence.
Thank You.

From the log that you sent over, it looks like you've configured the program to use a relay server that's no longer allowing you to relay. Please contact your network administrator or your Internet Service Provider and ask them what the new relay server is. If they don't use a relay anymore, please get the new primary and secondary DNS entries.
Once you have that information, edit the Carrier for either Sprint or Verizon and enter the new information into relay server, if they still use one.
If they don't use a relay anymore and you have the new DNS settings, select the "Deliver directly" option and enter the DNS entries you were given. Once you do that, it should be able to properly deliver your messages.
