I have been using notepager pro for years and in the past month one at a time, I could no longer send to different carriers. It started with Sprint, the next day was Cingular then a week later I lost Altell and today now I also lost Verizon. I have tried checking my IP Address to see if it has been blacklisted but the website says im not and I cannot get any support from the carriers directly, they have no idea what im talking about. Any ideas or tips to get me back working again?

Tara,

It's possible that your network's DNS entries have changed or port 25 has been closed and you no longer use DNS delivery, your network uses a relay server. Here's how we'll find out:

1) Go to Start - Run

2) Type the following and hit enter:
telnet smtpsp.vtext.com 25

3) If it comes back with a "220" response, that means port 25 is open on your network. If it says it couldn't establish a connection on port 25, that means port 25 is closed on your network and you'll need to contact your network or ISP Administrator to ask what the relay server is.

Let me know what Step 3 comes back with and we'll go from there.
