Freshly installed PageGate on Win2003 Server SP1. Running all modules as a service. Allowed PGMailServer in DEP to run. All services come up normally, including mail service. Despite the fact that it works fine, the global log keeps saying "Asking PGMailServer service to start" every three seconds. I can send and forward pages via SMTP mail with no problems! How can I get rid of the log messages?

Do you have any other Services in your Windows System Services list that references SMTP or Mail Host? |

If you would, please email all of the .log files from your PageGate directory to support @ notepage.com |

Found a solution: instead of using the extracted binaries downloaded recently (as solution to the problem that the installer does not run under W2003), I started the 2 years old installer on a WinXP machine and copied the extracted files from the temp dir created by the installer. They differ slightly from the ones I downloaded recently. After simply replacing the files in the PageGate program directory by the old ones everything works fine.
