I HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO PRINT THE HISTORY. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO CLEAR IT NOW?

There is no easy to purge the message history. This is by design, so people can't send out 'questionable' messages, and then delete the history. However there is a setting that controls how long messages are retained in the database for. In NPP, go to 'Toolse' -> 'Settings' -> 'General'. The 'Purge After' settings contols how many days message history will be retained for.
