I am looking for advice in exporting data from PageGate 3.7, and importing it into PageGate 4.0.

We are upgrading our production paging server, which is running PageGate v3.7 ("old"). We have spec'd and installed a new server, running in parallel, and which has PageGate 4.0 installed on it ("new").

I have exported all of the database information from the old server, but it does not seem to be in a format that may be imported into the new.

One of the goals of the migration is to turn off the old server as-was, which means that an in-place upgrade from 3.7 -> 4.0 and then export old -> new is not possible.

Is there an upgrade path for PageGate that suits this scenario? I have read several posts here regarding "massaging" the data w/i Excel... is this a preferred solution? If so, is the schema documented?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Copy the actual database from the "old" server to the proper directory of the "new" server. When PageGate runs the first time, it will upgrade the database
