Hello,

i configured the PageGate v4 as it should work, but i got this error from the logs when i try to send an SMS via UCP :

"No response from terminal"

Where can it come from ?

I am sure i'll need to provide you more infos .. :)

Generally, when you get that error, the UCP Terminal that you're dialing into isn't responding. This means that PageGate is picking up the modem and dialing but it's not receiving any sort of a response from the phone number that it has dialed. That problem could be caused by one of a few different things, so the best place to start is to find out which carrier are you trying to use?

I try to contact a swisscom gateway.

I ll check with them about that number .. thx !

The line seems ok. i can call that number from a hyperterminal on the box where is installed pagegate ..

any idea ?

i had a contact with swisscom, they dont have logs for that gateway.

they ask me if i can send the the UCP string the modem tries to send.

How do i find this ? thx a lot
