Can't post to SprintPCS

I'm attempting to send out pages to a Sprint PCS phone and I get the following message, marking the page bad. Have confirmed the setting (and tried the sprintpaging.com option also). Nothing works. Can send messages via a phone to the Sprint phone so I know the phone's not the problem and have confirmed everything else. Any ideas?

Manually test the connection to the Sprint SMTP server from the commandline.

Type (without the quotations!):
"telnet mx.messaging.sprintpcs.com 25"

You should receive a response back from a server that looks something like this:
"220 clxipc6001-in.nmcc.sprintspectrum.com ESMTP"

Do you receive that response?

If not, TCP/IP port 25 may be blocked by a firewall.
