Moving Pagegate to another server...

Can you backup the information on the current server and then move it to the new one?

Is there any information available online or in a manual.

You will want to copy the PageGate database file, named "pagegate.mdb". This contains all of your Settings, Recipients, Groups, Carriers, etc..

After you install PageGate on the new machine, copy the database over.

You may have to re-configure some settings if there have been hardware changes (modems, serial connections, etc.).

Dialer Serial ports and Carrier Init strings can be affected by hardware changes.
