What protocol are you using to send the messages?
Also, if you would, please email the c:\pagegatedata\logs\pgdial1.log file to support at notepage dot com so I can have a look at the specifics of what you're seeing. |

The log that you posted doesn't seem to have any communication attempts to Sprint. Can you try to send out a message to one of your Sprint people, then send the log to support at notepage dot com? You probably don't want to post it in a public forum because the logs do contain people's phone numbers. |

Also, is your Init String field actually blank?
If so, you want to set the baud rate to 1200 and reset the init string to (auto) so the program can determine the best string to use. |

Also - make sure you are still registered with Sprint - they no longer allow unregistered use of their messaging system_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Sprint now requires message ORIGINATORS to register their SENDING system (usually via IP address) before they will allow messages to be processed via TAP, SNPP, or WCTP. Once registered, you will be given a user login/PW that you enter into your PageGate to allow messaging.
here is one of MANY posts on this forum from 2010:
"Sprint Nextel stated:
“We are replacing our external facing SNPP/WCTP gateways this year with a single gateway that will serve both our CDMA and iDEN networks. As a result the CDMA gateway will be decommissioned and will refuse all traffic as of April 30, 2010. The iDEN gateway will be decommissioned later this year, but the date has not yet been finalized. Access to the new gateway will require account authentication, so customers must contact Sprint to request account credentials and gateway address.”
“Users wishing to obtain account credentials may do so by initiating an email to EnterpriseMessagingGateway@sprint.com.”
**************
Sprint Nextel stated the gateways to be decommissioned use the server addresses listed below:
The Sprint CDMA SNPP gateway uses the server address: snpp.messaging.sprint.com
The Sprint CDMA WCTP gateway uses the server address: wctp.sprint.com/wctp
The Sprint Nextel IDEN SNPP gateways use server addresses: snpp.nextel.com and msnsnpp.nextel.com and pecos.nextel.com
In the lead up to the transition to the new gateways, Sprint has been conducting tests and many of you have experienced service interruptions to the existing gateways.
If you are using either of the Sprint Nextel SNPP or WCTP gateways you should immediately email Sprint at EnterpriseMessagingGateway@sprint.com to begin the process of obtaining a Sprint Enterprise Messaging Gateway account for both SNPP and WCTP. Upon completion of the application process you will be given a user account name, passcode, and new gateway address. The user account name and new SNPP server address will have to be added to your Sprint SNPP Messaging Service settings; the user account name and passcode and new WCTP server address will have to be added to your Sprint WCTP Messaging Service settings."_________________ Aaron D.
