PageGate direct connect with zetron 2200

I have a problem when I try to send message from page gate client to page gate server
I have the following logg for connector 1

You're using the wrong communication parameters for the ZetronDirect carrier. Right now you have it set at 4800, n, 8, 1 but the terminal's settings are likely something different. If you match Pagegate's settings to the terminal's settings, it should work.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply, I have tried to connect to the terminal with the same parameter but with other software ( Zlink, ZbaseW) and I was able to connect and send message to user.
but it didn't work with pagegate please advise on this issue

Based on what I can see in the log that you posted, you don't need to change the GetTAP settings at all... those are for receiving TAP in to the program. You want to change the settings of the carrier you named ZetronDirect. Also, based on the log, it's definitely a communication mismatch. The terminal is expecting a different set of communication parameters than what you have it configured to pass.

In your carrier for that - do you have the initialization string set to "direct""?

It looks like you should be using:

Baud Rate: 300
Parity: Even
Data Bits: 7
Stop bits: 1

I have managed to connect to paging terminal but the page gate take long time to send messages?!

aslo some marked as bad and other sent and the one is sent took long time
while when using Auto tap from zetron works fine with every single message and maximum sending in 7 seconds

Baud rate: 300
Parity: even
Data bits: 7
Stop bits: 1

Try changing the stop bits from 2 to 1 and let's see what happens.

Okay, the reason the messages are taking that long is that you're receiving checksum errors in response to some of the transactions. If you would. please show this log to Zetron and ask why every other transaction is receiving a checksum error. Let's see what they have to say.
