We have installed PageGate on our new computer from a fresh install and are running 5.0.

I've run into an interesting issue while attempting to install PageGate and I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the issue.
I was prompted to create the database, which it did, and then restart PageGate. After the restart a dialog popped up labeled PGConnector 1 and contained the following error: "Run time error '3265': Item not found in this collection". I try to send any messages and they get stuck as pending, as well as on my Monitor it does not show Connector 1 as running.

One solution was to reinstall, which I have done, and still getting the same issue. Another was to rebuild the database, so I went into the PageGate admin and click on the Rebuild, however after closing everything and even checking my process list, I still get the message "All PageGate programs must be shut down before the database can be rebuilt". and Clicking the Yes button does nothing. I'm still getting the error and messages are still stuck as pending.

Any ideas?

When you reinstalled the program, did you do so with the most recent installation file from our website? If not, that's what you'll want to do. The 3265 error in question is an issue we discovered and fixed in May of this year with build 5.0.0.93

Hmm... if you go into the PageGate program directory on your HD and go into the properties of the pagegate.exe, then go under the version tab, what File Version does it say you're using?

mm, I should have had you check one other file while you were at it. Can you check the pgdial1.exe file as well?

That's really strange... unless something else is causing the underlying 3265 error. If you would, please email your contact information to support at notepage dot com so we can dig in to things a bit deeper.
