This error message just came up. PageGate had been operationg fine for months. Messages will not be sent as of Thursday. Any suggestions. Am I able to upgrade to version 5.0.9? Currently I am on 5.0.3.
Thank you,
Wade

To answer your question, yes, you can update to 5.0.9
To address the issue, usually 3219 errors are caused when the modem you're using stops responding to PageGate's AT requests.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say that you were using the TAP or GSMAT protocols for your carriers. If you would:
1) Go into the Windows Control Panel
2) Open the Phone and Modem Options.
3) Go under the Modems tab
4) Highlight your modem and left click on Properties
5) Go under the diagnostic tab
6) Left click on Query Modem.
Let me know what sort of response you get. |

Thank You for your help. No modem is installed. We are running Page Gate on a virtual XP box. We are using email with SMTP.

That's really bizarre, I don't think I've ever seen the 3219 error show up with the SMTP protocol before. If you would, please email all of the .log files from the c:\pagegatedata\logs\ directory to support at notepage dot com so I can see the error in context.
Thanks! |
