Is there any special process for updating to 5.0.9 from 5.0.1 other than the usual closing all clients and backing up the database as a precaution?
I am guessing that the new setup file is executed and everything is updated automatically. If so, it should be easy - right?

Don,
You have the process correct except going from build 1 to build 9 has one other thing. We modified the database structure since build 1 and, as such, you'll need to update the PageGate Client installations as well. Other than that, just back up the database, shut everything down, run the installation, bring everything back up, tell it yes to convert the database. |
