Failed Page Notification through Webgate Interface

Is there a way for webgate interface to notify the sender of an unsuccesful page?

Not directly, no. The web interface can tell the end user whether the message was accepted by the PageGate server but after the CGI Data leaves the web server and is accepted by PageGate, that's as far as the tracking can really go.

If you're familiar with SQL or Access and C#/ASP/etc coding, you could theoretically code a page that would monitor the 'error' field inside the messages table and warn the end user if error field was set to true instead of false. It would take quite a bit of developement work and it isn't anything that we have coded, it's just something tha tI know is theoretically possible.

Are there any plans to add this functionality in the future? I can see that it is possible to add this ourselves but it would still be great that this function gets added by NotePage so that we don't end up maintaing this piece of code whenever Pagegate gets updated or an update changes the database.

We currently don't have any immediate developmental plans on this project but it is on the list of items for to be addressed for the development team.

You could use a FAILOVER recipient to notify of failures with your current PageGate install
