Would it be possible to get step by step instructions to setup pagegate to send text messages to AT&T call phones? It is already setup and working for pagers.
Thank You

Forenote: AT&T has been deactivating some of their TAP terminals over the last year. We don't know how long this terminal will remain active.
1) Open the PageGate Admin.
2) Right click on Carriers.
3) Left click on Add.
4) Name the Carrier: ATT
5) Set the protocol to: TAP
6) In the phone number field, enter: 18009094602
7) Set the baud rate to 1200, the parity to even, the data bits to 7, and the stop bits to 1.
8) Click on Apply.
When entering an ATT recipient, in the ID/PIN field, enter just the person's 10 digit cel phone number, no spaces or dashes. |

Thank you for the information... one more question just to be sure... since there is more than one carrier.... would the "Dedicated Carrier" be set to "none"?

Yes, definitely make sure that your dedicated carrier is set to none, otherwise the connector will only ever deliver messages to the carrier specified in the 'dedicated carrier' setting. |
